Those who know me will know I previously turned 21 and those who don’t know me SURPRISE I’m new to the 21 club! To celebrate the girls in my family surprised me with a weekend trip to Fredericksburg, Texas. Just 5 girls hitting the road.
The drive consisted of stops at Storm’s for a life changing milkshake, a mural photo op along the side of the road, the Bluebonnet cafe for “more” dessert which including a HUGE piece of chocolate pie, and of course another photo op. What should have been a 3 and a half hour drive turned into a 6 hour drive. OH WELL because these stops are a must when you take the back roads into town!
6 hours later we arrived at Ada’s Peach Street Hideaway. A ranch style house that supplies enough amenities for survival. The cutest house for any trip. When guests step inside Ada’s they will truly feel as if they are in their own home. Let me just say… the bath alone will make you never want to leave! There are three separate living spaces so space is not an issue. At Ada’s they pay attention to the little details and ensure a welcoming stay.
All in all I loved my stay at Ada’s so much so that the girls and I have decided to turn it into an annual trip! I recommend Ada’s if you are looking for a cozy getaway to a small town.
Ada’s is located within walking distance of town while still tucked away from the busy streets and night life. The house supplies a list of things to do around Fredericksburg including a wine bus tour. Honestly the best way to see every winery AND you do not have to drive! See the list below of my personal eating choices. Leave a comment of your favorite places to visit in Fredericksburg!

Hiya! my name is Kaitlin, I am a twenty three year old content creator living in Dallas.
A few things you should know about me… I graduated Dallas Baptist University last December with a degree in Marketing. While I enjoyed writing papers and filling my resume with internships and “real world experiences”, Post grad life had a different idea for me. A month after graduation I found my life headed in a completely different direction, flight attendant training.
Becoming a flight attendant had never been a dream job of mine. The idea sounded fun and traveling had always been at the top of my list, but I never put the two together. The next four weeks would be more challenging than the past four years.
A year later I can say this job has changed me, challenged me, and steered me in a completely different path than I had planned (all for the good of course).
My goal for this blog is to take you along in my life journey, and also provide a place for you to come and share your hopes and dreams.
